OFFICE DISPATCH
This will be a full time position Monday through Friday. You will be required to hold/obtain a CDL for this role. Training to be paid for by Amarals.
Amaral Bus Co., Inc. is a fast growing, local, family owned company looking for a reliable, self motivated and positive Dispatcher to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks as well as assist with dispatching duties in a fast paced office environment. This will be a full time, split shift position Monday through Friday.
Duties of the Dispatcher/Administrative Assistant include: providing support to our managers and drivers, assisting in daily office needs and managing our company’s general administrative activities. Administrative Assistant responsibilities include maintaining appropriate filing systems, data entry, updating route changes, answering phones and emails along with all other general office tasks. The ideal candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills and significant experience with programs like MS Office.

Responsibilities

Answer and direct phone calls to appropriate manager

Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, faxes and appropriate forms

Assist with copies, filing and filling out paperwork properly

Update and maintain office policies and procedures

Provide excellent customer service by phone, email and in person in a timely fashion

Assist with radio dispatch calls

Data entry

Updating route changes and ensuring effected staff is aware and prepared.
Skills
-
Proven experience as an administrative assistant or office admin assistant

Knowledge of office management systems and procedures

Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines

Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Word, in particular)

Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work

Attention to detail and problem solving skills

Ability to work in a fast paced office environment

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong planning and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task

Strong knowledge of roadways in South Eastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island is a plus

Positive team player but willing to work independently and takes initiative to accomplish tasks

Requirements

Valid MA or RI Driver's License, reliable transportation

Clean CORI background check

Official scheduled hours to be discussed in interview process

CDL Class B with School Bus and Passenger Endorsements or 7D/PTV certificate, Amarals would be willing to certify the right candidate.
